This submission contains recommendations to the ACT government on issues of concern for ACT seniors.

Summary
Summary: ACT Budget Submission 2021-22 City Maintenance: Government urged to address neglect in city maintenance, including cleaning up, road and footpath repairs. Paper Options for Seniors: Provide paper-based administrative options for seniors without internet access. Seating for Elderly: Lack of seating in public places affects elderly's shopping, exercise, and wellbeing. Housing Support: More affordable housing options needed for seniors in the ACT. Aged Care Accommodation: Support the construction of aged care facilities in Gunghalin. Transport: Increase buses and stops to service retirement villages and aged care facilities. Emergency Department: Double the size of Canberra Hospital Emergency Department to reduce waiting times.
